I. What is the Progressive Tense?
These are used to discuss actions that are ongoing. It is usually used to talk about:
what is happening right now
an action that is happening at the same time as another one
I am eating. (right now)
I was eating when you called me. (two actions at the same time: ‘eating’ and ‘called’).
II. How do you make the Progressive Tense?
walk —> am walking
I am walking to the bank right now.
play —> was playing
The last time I saw him, he was playing football with his friends.
watch —> will be watching
You better behave, son. I will be watching you.
Change the following words into the Present Progressive:

Change the following words into the Future Progressive:
Write a short paragraph that contains the Present Progressive, Past Progressive, and Future Progressive (get creative for this one)!
